According to a recent report from the San Francisco Business Times, a new transit-oriented development in the works is seeking approval to include an additional 50 units on top of what was originally planned, further adding to South Francisco’s latest building boom that includes several new housing projects already underway. Located at 150 Airport Boulevard and designed by DNA Design and Architecture, the new project was originally slated to include 107 units over five stories, but has since been expanded to potentially include parcels at 178 and 190 Airport Boulevard, stretching all the way up to Baden Avenue.
Along with two levels of parking and the now-proposed 157 units, 150 Airport Boulevard will also include a range of common lifestyle amenities if approved, which would include a fitness center, storage for 180 bicycles, a sprawling rooftop deck, and a community clubhouse and garden.
Should 150 Airport Boulevard come to fruition, ground breaking isn’t expected until sometime in 2018. In the meantime, however, feel free to check out active new construction listings in San Francisco already on the market.
