A neighborhood name is a useful starting point, but each property deserves its own review. Use these questions to make your next visit more productive.

Use Diamond Street and the canyon as different starting points.

Gialina and the Glen Park library anchor a Diamond Street errands route near BART. Glen Canyon Park provides trails and recreation on another side of the search. St. Mary’s Pub is explicitly a nearby bar on the Bernal Heights edge, not a Diamond Street venue. Walk each connection from the home and test the climb and crossings. The orientation map is not the provider’s sales-data boundary.

BART is a specific village-center connection.

BART places Glen Park Station at 2901 Diamond Street, at Diamond and Bosworth, and lists the rail lines serving it. Test the door-to-platform route from the actual property, particularly from hillside blocks; station proximity alone does not measure an individual commute.

Inspect the hillside home behind the station-access pitch.

Check stairs, driveway and garage access, drainage, retaining structures and usable outdoor space with qualified inspectors. Compare legal interior area and permitted lower-level use before assigning value to a flexible floor plan. A condo or TIC also needs shared-expense and reserve review. We would price the actual building and route to the station, rather than assume every property carrying the Glen Park name delivers the same access.

  • Rainfall and temperature source: NOAA NCEI San Francisco Downtown, USW00023272 ↗, at 37.7705, −122.4269. These are city station readings, not measurements at an individual home. We sum the daily precipitation records and count days with at least 0.01 inches. The precipitation variable includes any liquid-equivalent frozen precipitation.
  • Daily values retain NOAA’s station observation dates. An observation day can end at a station’s reporting time; we do not relabel it as a midnight-to-midnight Pacific measurement. Trace precipitation is marked “Trace.” Missing or quality-flagged precipitation rejects a monthly update; incomplete temperatures remain unavailable.
